The Warriors now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashford for a 4A Area 2 challenge on Thursday, March 10. Dale County will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 15-11 non-league win over Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Straughn falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Red Level (Red Level, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-5.
