Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Caballeros now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a 5A Sonoran challenge on Wednesday, March 9. Flowing Wells will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Rincon/University falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Rangers host Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to face the Colts in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Buena won 19-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ)
