The Kellis Cougars softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Sierra Linda Bulldogs to 4 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Kellis moves its record to 1-6 on the year. The Cougars host Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, March 11. The Knights come into the game with a record of 5-0. Higley won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 9. Sierra Linda will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Owls come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ).
