The Eastern Guilford Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Southern Alamance Patriots to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams go into the Mid-State 3A match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Northeast Guilford by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 10-0, in a league match.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Orange edged Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 15-7, in a non-league match.
