In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Classical Magnet Gladiators.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 10. Shepaug Valley will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Ravens enter the match with a 18-5 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Bolton (Bolton, CT).
With the defeat, Classical Magnet moves to 12-12 on the year.
