Madison Eagles (Madison Heights, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), 61-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madison moves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Loyola (Detroit, MI) to face the Bull Dogs in a non-league game on Friday, March 10. The Bull Dogs enter the game with a record of 22-1. Loyola won 74-46 in their recent non-league game against Rose Leadership Academy (Detroit, MI)

With the defeat, University Liggett moves to 13-9 on the year.
