Connecticut High School Basketball - Stonington ripped by New London

The New London Whalers basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Stonington Bears to 59 in the Whalers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Whalers now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league contest on Friday, March 10. New London will meet a Falcons team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 17-3.

This game is a part of the 2023 CIAC Boys Basketball State Championships (Connecticut) - Division III tournament
