The Newark Reds tipped the host Wellsville Lions basketball team by a final score of 66-59 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Reds face the Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Newark will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record. The Hillbillies enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY).
