In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting North Linn Lynx basketball team scored a tight 52-50 triumph over the St. Mary's Hawks.
In their next game, the Lynx meet the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 10. North Linn will attempt to better on its 27-1 season record. The Thunder enter the match with a 24-0 record after their 68-50 non-league win over West Harrison (Mondamin, IA).
With the defeat, St. Mary's moves to 25-3 on the year.
