The Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) basketball felled the visiting Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), 80-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Braves (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Alcona (Lincoln, MI). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Alcona thwarted Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI), 62-41, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-14 record.
