North Carolina High School Baseball - Wilkes Central loses to Elkin

The Elkin Buckin' Elks crushed the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles baseball team by a count of 11-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Buckin' Elks now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league bout on Monday, March 13. Elkin will face a Huskies team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 4-0.

Next, the Eagles face the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 10. Wilkes Central will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).
