In Wednesday's non-league contest, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), by a margin of 18-3.
With the triumph, La Cueva moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Bears host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 22. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 4-0.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Alamogordo will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
