Nevada High School Softball - Cheyenne loses to Sunrise Mountain

The Sunrise Mountain Miners softball team scored 33 runs and limited the host Cheyenne Desert Shields to 7 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Sunrise Mountain improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Miners host Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Sundevils in a game on Thursday, March 9. The Sundevils come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Desert Shields clash with the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) in a game, on Saturday, March 11. Cheyenne will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV).
