North Carolina High School Softball - Bunker Hill knocked off by St. Stephens

March 8, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), by a margin of 15-5.

With the triumph, St. Stephens moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Indians host West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Warriors in a Western Foothills 3A contest on Tuesday, March 14. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 0-1. West Iredell lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)

In their next game, the Bears play the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A contest, on Thursday, March 9. Bunker Hill will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 14-0 league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
