Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) and the host McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), witnessed Chowchilla's softball squad tip McLane by a count of 10-7.

The Tribe now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sunnyside for a non-league match on Friday, March 10. Chowchilla will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, McLane moves to 3-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Selma (Selma, CA) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, March 9. The Bears go into the match with a record of 1-3. Selma won 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Tulare Western (Tulare, CA)
