The North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) softball the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), 9-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last game, South Johnston nipped Triton (Erwin, NC), 8-1, in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 10. Corinth Holders will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
