Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), witnessed Cox Mill's softball squad tip Cuthbertson by a count of 5-3.

The Chargers now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A match on Thursday, March 9. Cox Mill will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Cannon (Concord, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Cuthbertson moves to 3-2 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, March 10. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 1-2. Central Academy won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC)
