North Carolina High School Softball - East Rowan bounces Gray Stone Day

The East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) softball routed the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 13-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the South Piedmont 3A bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Lake Norman Charter was routed by Carson (China Grove, NC), 14-1, in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Thursday, March 9. Gray Stone Day will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
