Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capuchino for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. Presentation will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Mercy (Burlingame, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Gunn falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA) to face the Firebirds in a El Camino challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Fremont won 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)
