With the defeat, Athens Academy falls to 4-4 on the season. The Spartans host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 2A Area 8 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-6. East Jackson won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA)
