North Carolina High School Baseball - Clayton loses to Heritage

March 8, 2024: Clayton, NC 27520

The Heritage Huskies crushed the host Clayton Comets baseball team by a count of 11-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Wake Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 11. Heritage will face a Eagles team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

Next, the Comets face the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A bout, on Tuesday, March 12. Clayton will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Storm enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC).
