The Collinsville Pirates baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Ponder Lions to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates (12-2) will now prepare for their match against Kimball (Dallas, TX). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Kimball was overwhelmed by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 8-0, in a non-league match.
The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region II District 10 match with a 14-3 record. In their last match, Boyd gained a win over Whitney (Whitney, TX), 6-2, in a non-league match.
