The Colmesneil Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Slocum Mustangs to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region III District 24 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Burkeville was overwhelmed by West Sabine (Pineland, TX), 27-0, in a league match.
The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Neches (Neches, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Neches gained a win over Chester (Chester, TX), 5-3, in a non-league match.
