The Gulf Coast Sharks crushed the visiting Out-of-Door Academy Thunder baseball team by a tally of 13-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Sharks now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop McCarthy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. Gulf Coast will face a Mavericks team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-4.
Next, the Thunder face the IMG Academy Silver Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 12. Out-of-Door Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Ascenders enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Bartow (Bartow, FL).
