In Friday's non-league game, the host Winters Blizzards baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Menard Yellowjackets.
The Blizzards (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region I District 7 game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Hamilton was overwhelmed by Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX), 11-0, in a non-league game.
