New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, New Mexico Military Institute upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Colts travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Valencia falls to 3-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Alamogordo lost 16-11 in their recent non-league test against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)
