Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine thwarted by Normal Community

The Palatine Pirates basketball team (Palatine, IL), was toppled 58-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL)

The Ironmen now possess a 32-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 9. Normal Community will confront a Vikings team coming off a 40-35 non-league win over New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 33-4.

The Pirates (28-10) will now prepare for their battle against New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Trevians come into the non-league battle with a 27-7 record. In their last battle, New Trier beat Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 65-41, in a non-league battle.
