The Rincon/University Rangers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cholla Chargers to 0 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walden Grove for a non-league game on Friday, March 8. Rincon/University will meet a Red Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Red Wolves record now stands at 3-0.

The Chargers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons enter the 5A Southern game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Catalina Foothills gained a win over Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
