Next up, the Monarchs face the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 8. Mater Dei will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Griffins go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).

With the loss, Kearny moves to 6-9 on the year. The Komets travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Matadors in a non-league contest on Friday, March 8. The Matadors go into the contest with a record of 1-6. Mount Miguel lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Lincoln (San Diego, CA)
