Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pennsbury Falcons (Fairless Hills, PA), 63-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hazleton Area upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 22-4. Cardinal O'Hara won 48-19 in their recent non-league bout against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA)
