Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Powell Panthers (Powell, WY), 45-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wheatland upgrades its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Torrington (Torrington, WY) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 13-13. Torrington won 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman (Lyman, WY)
