In Friday's non-league contest, the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) lacrosse squad edged the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), by a count of 10-9.

Coming up next, the Iron Horses confront the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 11. Philip Simmons will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Bengals come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 20-6 league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).

The Cyclones now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pinewood Prep for a contest on Monday, March 11.
