Georgia High School Soccer - Atkinson County nudges Brookwood

The Atkinson County Rebels soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Brookwood Warriors to 2 in the Rebels non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Rebels face the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest, on Wednesday, March 13. Atkinson County will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.

The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiftarea Academy for a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 3 contest on Tuesday, March 12. Brookwood will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
