McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers confront the Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).

The Wildcats now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Friday, March 15.
