In Friday's league test, the host J.L. Mann Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Woodmont Wildcats.
The Patriots now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a non-league test on Friday, March 15. J.L. Mann will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a test, on Tuesday, March 12. Woodmont will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC).
