The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the host Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), saw Bishop Ireton's lacrosse team achieve victory over Benedictine by a margin of 14-9.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Legion Collegiate Academy was overwhelmed by Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders enter the Tidewater Independent challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Catholic was overwhelmed by St. James (Hagerstown, MD), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
