Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans face the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a 6A Area 7 challenge, on Friday, March 15. Lassiter will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.

The Raiders now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprayberry for a 6A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Alpharetta will face a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 1-1 league Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-1.
