Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lightning confront the Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) in a GAPPS I-AAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Lanier Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Paladins enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA).

The Lions now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hall for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13.
