The Macon County Bulldogs soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Rutland Hurricanes to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 6 contest, on Tuesday, March 12. Macon County will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA).
The Hurricanes now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Academy for Classical Education for a 2A Area 2 contest on Tuesday, March 12. Rutland will face a Gryphons team coming off a 7-0 league win over Central (Macon, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 3-5.
