Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carter for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. Mariposa County will face a Lions squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over University Prep (Victorville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Amador drops to 1-3 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Analy (Sebastopol, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 8. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-0. Analy won 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Ukiah (Ukiah, CA)
