In Friday's non-league contest, the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), by a margin of 14-1.

With the triumph, Aztec improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-1. Capital lost 18-0 in their recent non-league test against Gallup (Gallup, NM)

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Chieftains come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Shiprock was routed by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 16-4, in a non-league test.
