The Berkeley Yellowjackets softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Oakland Tech Bulldogs to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Berkeley moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets host San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to clash with the Pirates in a West Alameda County-Shoreline game on Wednesday, March 13. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 4-2. San Leandro won 14-2 in their recent non-league game against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 14. Oakland Tech will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
