The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) softball routed the visiting Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR), 10-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Golden Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Raiders go into the 5A East bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Nettleton was routed by Mayflower (Mayflower, AR), 11-9, in a non-league bout.

The Bearcats now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a 4A Region 3 bout on Monday, March 11. Brookland will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Southside (Batesville, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
