Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Union for a Carolina 1A challenge on Monday, March 11. Rosewood will face a Spartans squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, C.B. Aycock falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Golden falcons travel to Hunt (Wilson, NC) to face the Warriors in a Quad County 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
