Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Chavez will battle a Lions squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Lions record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Rosamond falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Independence (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Independence won 13-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA)
