The Clinton Dark Horses softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Hobbton Wildcats to 2 in the Dark Horses non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Clinton improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Dark Horses host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, March 11. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 2-1. West Brunswick won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 11. Hobbton will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 12-3 non-league win over James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
