In Friday's non-league contest, the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) softball team overwhelmed the host Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD), by a margin of 13-6.

With the triumph, Jackson-Reed moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to play the Barons in a non-league contest on Monday, March 11. The Barons come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the play the Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs (Washington, DC) in a contest, on Wednesday, April 3. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
