California High School Softball - Newbury Park gets by Righetti

The Newbury Park Panthers got by the visiting Righetti Warriors softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record.

The Warriors now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 9. Righetti will meet a Lions squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-9.
