The Coahoma Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Abernathy Antelopes to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lamesa for a 3A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, March 11. Coahoma will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 8-0 league win over Stanton (Stanton, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Abernathy drops to 1-9 on the year. The Antelopes travel to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX) to play the Swifts in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Swifts go into the test with a record of 6-1. Nazareth lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against New Deal (New Deal, TX)
