The Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) baseball trounced the host Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX), 7-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Aldine will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Cleveland drops to 8-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Grand Oaks (Spring, TX) to clash with the Grizzlies in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Grand Oaks won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Paetow (Katy, TX)
